Jovanovska in Sofia: We aim at promotion of our work in the service of the unemployed and the employers

The delegation of the Employment Service Agency of the Republic of Macedonia, led by the director Biljana Jovanovska, had a working meeting with the delegation of the Employment Agency of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The director of the Employment Service Agency of the Republic of Macedonia, Jovanovska, met with the director of the Employment Agency of Bulgaria, Dragomir Nikolov in order to exchange experiences in the field of the labor market development.

In front of the Macedonian delegation, the experts from the Employment Agency of the Republic of Bulgaria presented the policies for reducing the unemployment which are already implemented by the Republic of Bulgaria, member of the European Union and where the unemployment rate in 5.6.

Particular attention was paid to the exchange of experience in the field of registration and analysis of the labor market, legal regulations and procedures for employment of foreign citizens, as well as mediation in employment – a service on which the Employment Service Agency of the Republic of Macedonia is currently working diligently in the direction of its improvement.

-          The management goal of the Employment Service Agency of the Republic of Macedonia is to promote our work in the service and benefit of the unemployed people and employers. EARM would like to incorporate in its work the positive experiences for reducing the unemployment and increasing the employability which are used by the countries of the European Union, because the European Union is the road towards which we strive, said the director of the Employment Service Agency of the Republic of Macedonia, Jovanovska, in her speech at the working meeting.

The representatives of the two countries also discussed about the benefits from the IPA funds that EU member countries have.

The delegations from the Employment Service Agency of the Republic of Macedonia and the Employment Agency of the Republic of Bulgaria expressed readiness for further cooperation with a common goal of promoting and developing the labor market in both countries.
